Climate Conference in Copenhagen starts today

Today 1200 delegates from 192 countries are meeting in Copenhagen to discuss not only the world’s future climate policies, but also how much money will be involved to invest in new technologies for the reduction of the human impact on climate change. "Time is up" says Connie Hedegard, Minister for the UN Climate Conference in Copenhagen 2009 in her latest blog post. "We can choose to go down the road towards green prosperity and a more sustainable future. Or we can choose a pathway to stalemate and do nothing about climate change leaving an enormous bill for our kids and grand-kids to pay."
We here in Arizona can do our part to help reduce our effect on climate change by making sure we act wisely with the resources available to us. We have established a website at Scottsdale Community College where you can find out how to do that. Got to www.scottsdalecc.edu/green
